chta monkey is operated at chta-monkey.com. This page explains what we collect and how we use it.

Account data

We store your username, password hash, optional email, and workspace metadata so you can sign in and manage workspaces.

Workspace documents

Files you upload stay in your account’s workspaces and are encrypted at rest. Listen and Answer only see documents in the workspace you mark active. We do not sell your uploads.

Providers

To run the product we send data to third-party processors:

• Anthropic — receives relevant workspace document text plus your question and recent conversation turns so it can generate a speakable answer.
• Deepgram — receives live microphone audio from Listen (not only a transcript) so speech can be converted to text in real time.

Do not upload or say secrets you would not send to those services.

Cookies / session

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in on the website. The desktop app uses a device token stored securely on your machine.

Retention

Your data stays until you delete a workspace, delete your account, or ask us to remove it. Deleting your account revokes device tokens and removes your workspaces.
